When a young boy named Fauntleroy Von Canine vanishes near the supermarket, detectives Sherlock Squeeks and Tiger Tom take on the case—and a hefty $50,000 reward. What follows is a slapstick scramble through mistaken identities, collisions with the mail service, and increasingly wild accusations as the two detectives tumble over each other trying to solve the mystery. Will either of them figure out what really happened to Fauntleroy before the other claims the reward?

Tiger Tom and Squeeks strike a deal: the fast-talking contractor will give the little monkey a roomful of bananas if he'll paint Gilhooly Gorilla's house before a potential buyer arrives at five o'clock.
