Spread #19 delivers one of the series' most striking covers: a black raven with wings fully spread takes flight above a writhing mass of crimson biological horror, its tendrils reaching upward as if trying to pull the bird back down. The contrast between the sleek, natural creature and the grotesque red organism below captures everything unsettling and compelling about this series.
