Spooky Spooktown #25

This giant-size Harvey Comics treat puts Spooky front and center in a wonderfully chaotic scene — the tuff little ghost appears to be hiccuping tiny ghosts right out of the tree stumps around him, each one shooting skyward with a startled "BOO!" The cover promises a full roster of Harvey favorites, with thumbnail portraits of Spooky, Casper, Poil, the Ghostly Trio, and Wendy all lined up along the side. For 25 cents in 1968, this was a genuinely generous package of spooky fun that still charms with its playful, rubbery cartoon energy.
