Harvey Comics' lovable little ghost is in a bit of a wet spot on this cheerful 1962 cover — Spooky leans into a pedestal drinking fountain only to get a surprise splash right back in the face, his trademark bowler hat sent flying and soaked with water. It's the kind of delightfully silly gag that made Harvey's kid-friendly lineup so endearing, and the bright yellow background makes the whole scene pop with cartoon energy. At just 12 cents, this March issue of Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost promises lighthearted fun with "Land of the Jokers" inside.
