Against a vivid green backdrop, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost lives up to his reputation, lunging forward with a fierce snarl while a Frankenstein-style monster in an orange jacket recoils in fright — quite a turnaround for the supposedly scary big guy. A smaller, grumpy-looking monster kid sulks in the corner, clearly unimpressed by the whole scene. Harvey Comics' 1967 gem promises the kind of playful ghost-versus-monster chaos that made Spooky one of the most charming personalities in their lineup.
