Harvey Comics' "tuff little ghost" is front and center on this December 1960 issue, and the cover scene is a delight — Spooky, sporting his signature black top hat and a red kerchief, sits in a washtub while spraying what appears to be a squirt bottle directly into his own face, sending a bright yellow stream and a puff of green-yellow vapor into the air. It's the kind of cheerful, self-inflicted slapstick that made Spooky such an endearing presence in Harvey's lineup, and issue #50 carries that spirit with a ten-cent cover that's full of fizzing, steaming, ghostly charm.
