Even a vampire as tough as Spike can look genuinely alarmed when he finds himself caught between the teeth of a massive, looming mouth — and Franco Urru's cover for this fourth issue makes that image viscerally hard to ignore. Spike, bleached hair and black boots unmistakable, struggles and snarls against an enormous set of jaws threatening to swallow him whole, capturing the kind of absurd, off-kilter danger that makes this series such a compelling read. Brian Lynch and Nicola Zanni's 2011 IDW run continues here with "Part Four: You Haven't Changed a Bit" — a title that sounds like it carries a whole lot of loaded history behind it.
