A Vegas-soaked hellscape sets the stage for this third issue of IDW's Spike series, with a brooding, long-coated figure cradling a pale, dark-haired woman against a fiery background alive with occult sigils and neon. In the foreground, a battered Spike lies prone — bloodied and seemingly at someone's mercy — creating an unsettling tension between triumph and defeat. Franco Urru's linework and Fabio Mantovani's smoldering red palette give the whole scene a stylish, gothic menace that keeps you guessing about who holds the upper hand.
