Spider-Man: The Lifeline Tablet Saga #[nn]
In "Crisis on the Campus!", Spider-Man is still on the run, hiding the mysterious tablet in Peter’s closet while the Kingpin escapes jail with a bloodthirsty vow to claim it—and him. When their clash erupts on campus, chaos follows as Ned Leeds intervenes, the police are called, and a shadowy woman in a mysterious car pulls the Kingpin away, leaving Spider-Man caught between fury and fear. After a heated confrontation with a furious J. Jonah Jameson, Spider-Man’s outburst triggers a shocking collapse—leaving one question hanging: was it murder, or just the breaking point of a hero pushed too far? Written by John Romita and Stan Lee, with art by John Romita and Jim Mooney, and a cover by Steve Rude.
