Spider-Man / Human Torch #2

The second chapter of this 2005 Marvel limited series pairs Spider-Man and the Human Torch in a wonderfully chaotic cover scene by Paul Smith, where the two heroes — along with a pair of young women — look to be in the middle of a wild confrontation at a Coffee Bean café, with a snarling lion prowling at their feet. Things are no calmer on the rooftop above, where a menacing figure flanked by a gray ape-like creature and a werewolf looms over the whole scene. Dan Slott and Ty Templeton's "Catch You On the Flipside" promises the perfect blend of superhero action and easy camaraderie that makes this Spider-Man/Human Torch team-up so much fun to follow.
