Spider-Man: House of M #5
In "Weather or Not," Peter Parker’s family grapples with the weight of a life rewritten, reading his diary to uncover the tragedies that never were—Gwen, Captain Stacy, Uncle Ben—all lost in a world that might have been. With humanity under siege after the Spider-Man fiasco, Uncle Ben urges Peter to fake his death, hoping to ease the strain on the mutant-led world. Written by Mark Waid and Tom Peyer, with art by Salvador Larroca and inks by Danny Miki, this issue captures a quiet, poignant turn in a fractured reality. The cover by Larroca and Miki reflects the emotional gravity of a family choosing peace over legacy.
