A dune buggy missing its lug nuts and two very confused heroes — that's the chaotic premise on full display in this 2019 Marvel team-up collection. The cover by Dave Johnson captures Spider-Man stranded beside a tilting off-road buggy while Deadpool crouches nearby, sheepishly holding the missing lug nuts and wondering aloud if that's what they were for. It's a perfectly absurd snapshot of the Spider-Man/Deadpool dynamic, and with Robbie Thompson writing alongside art by Matt Horak and colors by Brian Reber, this "Road Trip" volume promises exactly the kind of comedic misadventure the title delivers best.
