Spider-Man / Deadpool #44

Spider-Man and Deadpool crouch nervously at the base of a rocky outcrop, whispering to each other in classic comedic fashion — only to discover, as their own speech bubbles admit, that the enormous, armored Blastaar is already looming over them with fist raised and fangs bared. Dave Johnson's cover leans into the series' signature self-aware humor with a wink that's hard to resist. With "Road Trip Part Four" underway in 2019, this issue promises the kind of chaotic, mismatched-duo energy that makes Spider-Man/Deadpool such a good time.
