Spider-Man and Deadpool's chaotic partnership hits a new comedic peak in this 2019 Marvel entry, as the cover says it all: Spider-Man clings to a wildly careening dune buggy demanding to know what happened to the lug nuts, while a very sheepish Deadpool crouches below clutching a fistful of them, innocently wondering what they're even for. It's the kind of perfectly timed visual gag that makes this team-up series such a treat, with Thompson, Horak, and Reber delivering the off-kilter buddy dynamic these two do better than almost anyone.
