Spider-Man / Deadpool #2
The uneasy bromance between Spider-Man and Deadpool takes center stage in this second chapter of "Isn't it Bromantic?" — and Ed McGuinness's cover says it all with a split-mask image merging both heroes into one gloriously chaotic figure leaping across the Manhattan skyline. Deadpool brandishes a pistol while Spider-Man swings alongside him, and below them a city-street melee swirls with Goblins, purple smoke bombs, and what appears to be Miles Morales Spider-Man caught in the thick of it. Colorist Jason Keith's vivid greens and reds give the whole scene an electric energy that makes this 2016 team-up series feel like exactly the kind of wild ride you'd hope for.
