In "Death in a Watery Grave!", Tony Stark steps back from the spotlight, letting Happy try to win Pepper’s heart—only for a small-time crook named Weasel Wills to stumble upon the Iron Man armor and run amok, tarnishing the hero’s reputation. When Tony returns in his classic golden suit, he faces off against the imposter, using his deep understanding of the tech to outwit and defeat him. The issue closes with Tony returning to his office, lost in thought, as the weight of his dual identity settles once more. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Don Heck with inks by Mickey Demeo, and featuring a cover by John Romita, this 1974 UK edition captures the classic clash of heroism and hubris in a 7p comic.
