The trail leads to a deadly trap set by the Kingpin, where the truth behind the Schemer’s identity shocks even the web-slinger—revealing the villain to be Richard Fisk, the Kingpin’s long-lost son.
In a twist that leaves Happy disoriented and memoryless, the Freak’s transformation reverses—but the cost is his past. As Senator Byrd serves Stark a subpoena with a police escort, Pepper watches in frustration at Stark’s uncharacteristic calm. Just as Stark prepares to face the hearing, the Mandarin arrives, dispatching Chinese soldiers and whisking Stark away via teleportation. With Stark’s briefcase cast into the moat, the Mandarin readies his ultimate weapon: Ultimo.
In "Even in Death...", the Wrecker leaves Thor for dead, but the god of thunder refuses to stay down, returning to his body to confront his foe. As Sif and Baldur battle Karnilla and Loki, Sif is deceived into entering the Destroyer—now a weapon turned against the Wrecker, but left to face the weakened Thor.
