“Marked for Destruction by Dr. Doom”

In "Marked for Destruction by Dr. Doom," Stan Lee and Steve Ditko deliver a classic tale of deception and mistaken identity, with Dr. Doom setting a trap for Spider-Man by manipulating events to lure him into aiding the villain. When the real Spider-Man refuses, Doom turns his sights on Flash Thompson—dressed as Spider-Man for a prank—leading to a tense rescue that puts the hero’s quick thinking to the test. The cover by Ron Frenz and Terry Austin captures the moment of capture with dramatic flair, while Ditko’s signature art and Yanchus’s colors bring the classic clash to life in a 1993 release.
