Spider-Man #3

Miles Morales hangs upside-down from a massive industrial pipe — webbing trailing below him — while Ms. Marvel perches casually on top of that same pipe, her red scarf flowing in the breeze and a stack of books beside her, the whole scene set against an open sky above the water. It's a wonderfully relaxed yet visually inventive composition from Sara Pichelli, capturing two young Marvel heroes sharing an oddly charming moment high above the world. Bendis, Pichelli, and Ponsor bring a genuine warmth to this series that makes issue #3 a pleasure to seek out.
