Spider-Man 2099 #6

Part of Marvel's 2015 Spider-Verse crossover event, this issue brings together three spider-heroes — Spider-Man 2099 crouching at the fore, a red-and-black-clad Spider-Man to the left, and a female spider-hero in red and gold to the right — all loomed over by a massive, glowering villain with blazing red eyes. Francesco Mattina's cover art renders the threat in genuinely unsettling fashion, that enormous face dominating the background like a dark storm gathering behind the trio. Peter David and Will Sliney continue their run here, making this a satisfying chapter for anyone following the Spider-Verse saga.
