Spider-Man #12

Two spider-heroes — Miles Morales in his black-and-red suit and Spider-Gwen in her white-and-pink costume — lean toward each other in a quiet, charged moment against a vivid pink backdrop, their masks pulled back just enough to reveal their faces almost touching. Sara Pichelli's cover art for this 2017 Marvel Now! issue is intimate and beautifully composed, framing the start of "Sitting in a Tree" with a tenderness that feels genuinely earned. With Bendis writing and Pichelli and Justin Ponsor delivering work this gorgeous, issue #12 is a compelling place to jump in.
