Spider-Boy #6 puts the young hero in a precarious spot — literally crouched and seemingly restrained at the feet of a menacing, elaborately dressed villain sporting a towering dark updo, goggles, a lace-trimmed jacket, and a smoking weapon in hand, all set against an ominous industrial backdrop of gears and machinery. The cover by Humberto Ramos crackles with a sense of danger and dark theatricality, making this antagonist an immediately compelling presence. With Dan Slott writing and Julian Shaw on art, "The Man Upstairs" looks like a thoroughly entertaining chapter in Spider-Boy's 2024 series.
