Spawn #171
In "A Tale of Three Brothers Part Two: Rememberance," Spawn confronts a haunting truth within the transformed Hell House, where reality and hellfire blur. As the real Spawn uncovers a chilling deception, he's forced to face a past he thought buried—his brother Richard, a pastor tormented by his own sins, and a boy whose death may have been the beginning of it all. Written by David Hine and illustrated by Brian Haberlin, with colors by Andy Troy and letters by Tom Orzechowski, the issue’s cover by Greg Capullo captures the dread and revelation of a story where memory is a weapon and blood is a ledger.

Nyx enters the Hell House which has been turned into an actual doorway to Hell and is immediately confronted by Spawn who accuses her of wrecking his life. She uses her magic to reveal that this "Spawn" is really a Sin-Eater in disguise and she shows the real Spawn that his "wife" is a Sin-Eater as well. The two track down the pastor who runs Hell House and is experiencing a personal hell of his own. Spawn is taken aback as he recognizes the pastor as his brother Richard and the Sin-Eater who is confronting him is a boy all three of the Simmons' brothers supposedly murdered years before.
