Twitch visits Spawn in the alley where he has once again taken up residence. Spawn explains to him what happened during the white light event that ended Armageddon. The world was destroyed but Spawn brought it back again, only this time without God and the Devil. They have been banished and the supernatural will no longer plague mankind. Twitch tells Spawn that at first things were calm and peaceful but now the police are seeing cases of ordinary people committing crimes of unmatched brutality.
