Spawn #15 arrives in November 1993 with a cover that practically leaps off the rack — Todd McFarlane's pencils and inks pit Spawn, armored and chain-wrapped, against a massive, slavering creature with a cavernous maw full of jagged teeth, as eerie green supernatural energy swirls between them. The sheer scale of the beast against Spawn's skull-emblazoned chest plate makes for a genuinely unsettling confrontation, all wrapped in that signature billowing red cape. "Myths (Part Two)" promises the kind of dark, otherworldly storytelling that was making this series a standout of the early Image era.
