Spawn #14

Spawn #14 kicks off the "Myths" arc with a cover that puts the Violator front and center — the grotesque, white-haired demon in his human guise laughing wildly as a massive, insectoid creature looms behind him with glowing red compound eyes and dripping fangs. Todd McFarlane's cover work here is characteristically visceral, every jagged line and snarling detail radiating menace against that deep crimson background. If this September 1993 issue is any indication of where "Myths Part 1" is headed, the world of Spawn is about to get considerably darker.
