Space Ghost Vol. 2 launched in August 2025 after Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci and writer David Pepose agreed to continue the story beyond the original twelve-issue mandate of Volume 1. Pepose has described the relaunch explicitly as 'Season Two,' a deliberate televisual framing that carried over the same core creative team — writer David Pepose, artist Jonathan Lau, colorist Andrew Dalhouse, letterer Taylor Esposito, and editor Joseph Rybandt — without interruption. The Vol. 2 run introduced Tempus the Time-Master as its central antagonist, a character seeded in the Annual that bridged the two volumes, and issue #11 represents the payoff of that multi-issue setup. The series was published in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, which holds the Hanna-Barbera IP.
