Spécial Strange #76
"Course poursuite" delivers a gripping chapter in the New Warriors' early days, as the team’s fledgling unity is tested when Night Thrasher’s past resurfaces in the form of Midnight's Fire and the wounded Silhouette. Written by Fabian Nicieza and illustrated by Mark Bagley, with inks by Al Williamson and colors by Andy Yanchus, this 1991 issue captures the tension between duty and personal demons. The cover by Andy Kubert perfectly frames the moment’s intensity, a 17,00 FRF comic that remains a standout in the series’ formative arc.

The New Warriors begin to train together as a unit under the watchful gaze of both Chord and Tai but Night Thrasher's past comes back to haunt him in the form of his old ally, Midnight's Fire, and an old flame, Silhouette, whom he accidentally crippled. The heroic Warriors are a little uneasy that their leader is so easily capable of brutal violence and a burning quest for vengeance.
