“Là où se cache la mort...”

In "Là où se cache la mort...", Steve Gerber and Sal Buscema deliver a surreal, high-stakes adventure as The Thing takes the childlike Wundarr to the zoo—only for chaos to erupt when the alien frees the animals. With Steve and Sharon spending the day together and Cap stepping in, the situation spirals when Namorita intervenes, snatching Wundarr away. Back at the Baxter Building, Ben, Cap, and Sharon are stunned by the sudden arrival of a woman from a distant future, setting off a chain of events that sends The Thing, Cap, and Sharon hurtling into the future to confront an apocalyptic threat. Jean Frisano’s striking cover captures the moment of tension, while Petra Goldberg’s colors deepen the story’s eerie atmosphere.
