Son of M #2
In "Gene Pool," Quicksilver—powerless and broken—faces his lowest moment, leading to a desperate act that leaves him critically injured. Taken to the Inhumans by Crystal and Lockjaw, he slowly finds a fragile hope through time with his daughter, Luna. When denied permission to enter the Terrigen mists in search of new strength, he defies the royal family, setting off a journey that could change everything. Written by David Hine and illustrated by Roy Allan Martinez, with colors by Pete Pantazis and letters by Dave Lanphear, the issue's cover by John Watson captures the weight of his decision.
