The cover of issue #7 says everything without saying a word: a blood-soaked young woman crouches alone on a crimson ground, two gore-slicked blades planted in the earth on either side of her, while dark, cracked shapes loom in the murk above. It's a quietly devastating image — exhaustion and resolve in equal measure — rendered with striking atmosphere by Werther Dell'Edera. James Tynion IV's unsettling BOOM! Studios series continues with "The House of Slaughter Part Two," and this issue looks every bit as intense as that title suggests.
