The second chapter of Marvel's six-issue limited series brings Robert E. Howard's grim Puritan adventurer to vivid life, with a cover by Kevin Nowlan that crackles with dark energy. Solomon Kane lunges forward armed with both pistol and blade, a snarling wolf-like creature bearing down on him from above while shadowy figures press in from the edges — a beautifully moody composition rendered in cool, atmospheric blues and grays. "And Faith, Undying…" promises the same brooding intensity that made Howard's original stories so enduring, and this 1985 Marvel production delivers it right from the cover.
