Percy, who stole a valuable sapphire, gets away from Midnight at the Slocum County Fair. Shortly afterwards the prize cow Angela is stolen before the cattle judging competition. While Midnight is searching for the cow, a beautiful dancing girl leads him into Percy's ambush. At the end, Midnight figures out that the sapphire had been stuck in Angela's cowbell. Percy couldn't get the sapphire out, nor remove the cowbell, so had to take Angela with him.
