“Slash Scraponi's Escape”

In "Slash Scraponi's Escape," the infamous mobster Slash Scarponi, sentenced to Bedlam Island prison after Corny Hogan's betrayal, remains a force beyond bars—manipulating his empire through a corrupt warden. When reporter Happy Terrill starts closing in, Scarponi makes a desperate move: he’s not just planning an escape, he’s planning revenge. Lou Fine’s dynamic art brings the tension to life, while George Brenner’s cover captures the menace of a criminal on the run.
