Sleeze Brothers #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom Epic Comics' offbeat 1989 series comes The Sleeze Brothers #2, with a cover penciled by Andy Lanning and inked by John Higgins that plants the mismatched duo smack in the middle of giant, swirling film strips — one short and stocky, one tall and lanky, both decked out in blue trench coats and fedoras. A deadpan speech bubble has the smaller brother complaining that somebody promised this movie would "really grab him," which sets the tongue-in-cheek tone perfectly. "Reel to Real" promises the same grimy, comedic sci-fi noir energy that made this Marvel/Epic title a fun outlier in the late-'80s landscape.
