Sleeze Brothers #3

This Epic Comics oddity from October 1989 leans fully into its own absurdist charm: the two trench-coated, shades-wearing Sleeze Brothers stand at the bottom of a nearly blank white cover, one deadpanning to the other, "Not much going on on this cover, eh, Deadbeat?" — to which his partner simply replies, "Nope." It's a gloriously self-aware gag that tells you everything you need to know about the series' irreverent sense of humor. If you enjoy comics that gleefully wink at the reader, this one earns its place on the shelf.
