Part three of "Five Funerals & a Bucket of Blood" delivers exactly the kind of brutish, chaotic energy that makes this Image series so much fun. The cover — by Edwin Huang and Misty Coats — shows a massive, bald mercenary slamming against a stone wall in a tight, shadowy corridor, his gauntleted fists raised and face twisted in a fierce roar, while a tiny glowing fairy hovers nearby holding a lantern. It's a wonderfully absurd contrast — hulking muscle and delicate wings sharing the same grimy dungeon alley — and Jim Zub's series continues to revel in that gleeful blend of fantasy mayhem and dark comedy.
