Skull the Slayer finds himself outnumbered on the steps of a pyramid in this March 1976 Marvel adventure, as the cover — penciled by Rich Buckler and inked by Dan Adkins — shows him locked in fierce combat with an Egyptian-styled warrior while sword-wielding pharaoh guards close in from behind. The tagline "Peril of the Pyramids!" captures the high-stakes tension perfectly for this "modern-day man trapped in a world of time gone mad." And if that weren't enough, a circular inset teases the shocking return of the Black Knight, his blue-armored visage and sword making it clear this issue has more than one surprise in store.
