This issue contains two stories. "Specters of the Dam" follows citizens of Centerville who must evacuate their homes when a new dam is built, only to discover that the dead from the old cemetery have been disturbed and are rising to haunt the valley. A Finnish doctor and his colleagues investigate the supernatural phenomena, theorizing about transmutation and ancient curses, while the living experience ghostly attacks. In the second story, a couple rents a supposedly haunted house for free, but discovers the supernatural claims are real when they encounter an apparition and unexplained disturbances, including a mysterious presence that emerges from the floor.
