This issue is an anthology featuring two main stories. "The Gunmaster in 'Killers' Guns!'" follows a peace officer who must prove himself innocent after being falsely accused, revealing that the townspeople themselves are the real threats behind a crime wave. "Wild Bill Hickok in 'Don for a Day'" depicts Hickok rescuing a woman held captive by a cougar attack in a remote area, then traveling to Virginia City to deal with railroad troubles involving armed Sioux warriors and a troublemaker named Kirk Wilson.
