A Lash LaRue story in which the marshal escorts a prisoner via stagecoach and must protect him from bandits seeking to recover stolen diamonds hidden at the prisoner's house. When the stagecoach is ambushed and the sheriff is shot, Lash LaRue pursues the hired killers responsible and ultimately confronts Jack Ferro, determined to learn who orchestrated the crime and recover the hidden diamonds before the bandits can locate them.
