Simpsons Comics #157
In "Marge's Extreme Make-Under," Marge Simpson takes on a bold new mission after her sisters Patty and Selma are publicly shamed by Kent Brockman for Springfield's dubious honor as the ugliest city in America. Tired of seeing her sisters mistreated, Marge steps into their world—and discovers just how harshly people judge appearances. Written by James W. Bates and illustrated by John Costanza, with inks by Phyllis Novin, colors by Art Villanueva, and letters by Karen Bates, this heartfelt and humorous story explores self-worth and acceptance. The cover, by Jason Ho and Mike Rote, captures the moment Marge embraces her new role with determination.
