Silver Surfer #85
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of Marvel's 1993 Infinity Crusade crossover event, this issue puts the Silver Surfer on the defensive as a stormswept, lightning-charged cover by Ron Lim and Tom Christopher shows him on his knees, battered and energy-blasted, while a fierce Storm hovers above with her power crackling around her and a determined Wonder Man closes in beside her. The speech bubbles say it all — "To save you, we must kill you!" and "The goddess demands your death!" — promising a tense, morally charged confrontation between the Surfer and two of Marvel's most formidable heroes. Ron Marz writes the interior story "Compassion," making the irony of that title against such a threatening cover all the more intriguing.
