Dan Slott and Michael Allred's 2014 series continues with this wonderfully surreal third issue, where the Silver Surfer rockets forward on his board while an enormous, cymbal-clutching mechanical monkey looms menacingly overhead. A young dark-haired woman — perched in the lower right corner — watches the chaos unfold, and Laura Allred's bold, vibrant colors give the whole scene a pop-art energy that feels both playful and genuinely unsettling. Michael Allred's cover perfectly captures the series' offbeat spirit: cosmic adventure with a twist of the wonderfully weird.
