Shutter #21
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeShutter #21 from Image Comics presents one of the series' most visually striking covers: a vibrant yellow-bordered maze rendered in blue and stone-grey, populated by a cast of armed and dangerous figures — including the series' protagonist sprinting urgently at the bottom, a looming red-robed figure at the corner, a cloaked archer near the top, and several weapon-wielding characters scattered throughout the labyrinthine paths. It's a clever visual metaphor that captures the sense of converging threats and impossible choices at the heart of the "Past Is Present" chapter. Leila del Duca's cover design is both playful and tense, and with Joe Keatinge, Owen Gieni, and John Workman rounding out the creative team, this 2016 issue delivers exactly the kind of bold, imaginative storytelling that made Shutter such a standout series.
