Cave Carson and crew are transported to Xanadu, a city located in a huge cavern far below the surface of the Earth. The kindly leader, Dr. Damion, tells Cave he brought him there to ask if he would replace him as leader as he was soon about to die. Before he can make his decision, Cave must defeat a giant molten monster who threatens the whole civilization.
