Billy and Uncle Dudley arrive back in San Francisco, where Billy decides to contact Emily Thickert at station K-WHIZ to warn about the threat of Black Adam, however she attempts to turn Billy over to Beautia and Magnificus. Changing to Captain Marvel, Billy goes to the abandoned subway station where he finds the spirit of Shazam, who tells him of the origins of Black Adam.
