Shang-Chi #3

Philip Tan's cover for Shang-Chi #3 wastes no time setting the stakes: the Master of Kung Fu rockets forward with blazing fists while Sister Dagger descends blade-first from above, the two of them surrounded by a horde of glowing-eyed zombie vampires lurking in the shadows behind them. It's a beautifully composed collision of martial arts intensity and supernatural menace, with Sebastian Cheng's coloring making those streaking energy trails and jagged daggers pop against the eerie blue-green dusk. Gene Luen Yang's "Brothers & Sisters Part 3" promises the kind of issue where the threats keep stacking up — and Shang-Chi has to fight his way through all of them.
