Joe Kubert's cover for Sgt. Rock #365 is a striking visual puzzle — a massive blue-gloved Nazi hand holds up a jigsaw piece, while inside its cutout shape, Rock himself charges forward with his submachine gun, Easy Co. massed behind him ready for battle. The speech balloon's declaration, "We have found the missing piece!!", perfectly sets up the "Jigsaw of War" tagline splashed across the top. It's a cleverly composed 1982 cover that makes you want to dive straight into Robert Kanigher's story.
