Issue #64 of Marvel's long-running war series arrives in March 1969 with one of the more visually striking covers of its era — a massive peace symbol dominates the bright red composition, its segments packed with Sgt. Fury and the Howling Commandos locked in fierce combat against enemy soldiers, rifles and fists flying in every direction. The bold irony of wartime chaos framed within a peace sign perfectly teases the story title "The Peacemonger!", promising plenty of tension between the ideals of peace and the brutal realities these soldiers face.
